A new curriculum, covering the basics of the Buddhadharma, developed by Upasaka Culadasa and other Dharma Treasure teachers, began on March 15, 2012.

The following supplemental written materials are available as pdf downloads:

These topics will be presented every other Thursday by Upasaka Culadasa. Related discussions led by other Dharma Treasure teachers will take place on intervening Thursdays. This schedule is subject to change, so please check the Dharma Treasure Calendar.

Though the curriculum will shift according to the needs of the sangha, the current outline for the coming months is as follows (click on the links to access recordings of teachings in the past):

Note: Each dharma talk will stand on its own, so one does not need to attend previous evenings for the talk to be accessible, though information from and recordings of previous evenings will be made available.

An Extraordinary Gift

Jotidhamma Bhikkhu, Upasaka Culadasa’s teacher, and Brian Harris have offered this Buddha rupa as a donation to Culadasa and his dharma community. The statue was brought from Thailand by Jotidhamma and Brian (Jotidhamma’s assistant for over 40 years) in 1975.

Culadasa is deeply moved by this gift, and in a letter to the Dharma Treasure Board said, “…their offering of it to us at this time is the most powerful affirmation of the sangha we are building and the work we are doing together that I could have ever imagined.”

(This remarkable 500 lb. statue is in Vancouver, Canada. We are looking for a way to transport it to southeastern Arizona. If you would like to sponser the cost of moving it, please contact us).
